You will see this in the top-right corner of your screen. Next, enter your Apple ID password and tap Turn Off.This is the same password that you use to unlock your iPhone when you turn it on. This will allow you to reset your network settings, home screen layout, keyboard language, and more. If you just want to fix a problem with your iPhone instead, you can tap Reset at the bottom of your screen.
This will give you unlimited iCloud storage to back up your data until you restore your new iPhone (or up to 21 days). Note: If you want to transfer your data to a new iPhone, you can tap Get Started near the top of your screen. This will erase all your data and return your phone to its original state, so then you have the option to restore your iPhone from a backup or set it up like a new phone. Then select Erase All Content and Settings.Next, scroll down and tap Transfer or Reset iPhone.If you don’t know where this app is on your iPhone, you can swipe down from the middle of your home screen and type “settings” into the search bar at the top of your screen. Finally, enter your Apple ID password and tap Turn Off > Erase. Then tap Continue and enter your iPhone passcode.
To factory reset your iPhone without a computer, go to Settings > General > Transfer or Reset iPhone > Erase All Content and Settings > Erase Now.
